Magic First - $2.50 per pound
Our standard rate. Book us whenever you need us, with no commitment of any kind.
Magic Routine - $2.00 per pound
Set up a recurring pickup and pay the lower rate on every order, not just the first. Cancel any time.
Free pickup and delivery on both. 48-hour return on both.
The $40 Minimum Order
Every order has a $40 minimum. In pounds, that works out to:
- 16 lbs on Magic First, at $2.50 per pound
- 20 lbs on Magic Routine, at $2.00 per pound
Send less than that and your order is billed at $40. Send more and you simply pay your rate for what you send.
You don't need a scale to work out where you land. Most families send 30 to 40 lbs every week.
How Your Laundry Is Weighed
Your laundry is weighed dry at intake, before anything is washed, on a digital scale, to the nearest tenth of a pound. Everything you send in a single pickup is weighed together — one bag or three makes no difference to the price.
Because your total depends on the weight, your card is charged after your laundry is weighed rather than at the moment you book. Your invoice shows the weight, the rate and the total, so you can always see exactly how the number was reached.
Sending More Than One Bag
There is no extra bag fee and no such thing as an overage. If you have more laundry than what fits in your Magic Basket bag, put the rest in any bag you like and set it out alongside. It is all weighed together and billed at your rate.
Items We Can't Wash
Occasionally our intake team has to return an item unwashed for safety reasons. Those items are weighed out of your order and you are not billed for their weight.
