At Magic Basket, we believe laundry shouldn't be a weekend burden. We’ve modernized the traditional laundry process to provide a seamless, delivery-first experience that gives your time back.
1. The Setup
Getting started is simple. There are two ways to pay, and neither is a subscription.
• Magic First — $2.50 per pound. Book us whenever you need us, with no commitment.
• Magic Routine — $2.00 per pound. Set up a recurring pickup and pay the lower rate on every order. Cancel any time.
Every order has a $40 minimum — 16 lbs on Magic First, 20 lbs on Magic Routine — and new customers get a discount off their first order.
You don't need anything from us to get started. Use any bag you already own for your first pickup. Just make sure it is marked with your name and "For Magic Basket". Your personalized Magic Basket bag comes back with your first delivery, packed with your clean clothes.
2. The Hand-Off
We operate on a fixed-route schedule to ensure maximum reliability.
- Prepare your bag: No sorting required - whites and colors go in together.
- Check your pockets: While we perform a safety check, we ask that you remove all valuables first.
- Place it out: Set your bag at your doorstep by 7:00 AM on your service day.
Don’t worry, we will send you a reminder the night before!
3. The Weigh In
When your laundry reaches our facility it is weighed dry at intake, before anything is washed, to the nearest tenth of a pound. That weight times your rate is your total.
Because the total depends on the weight, your card is charged after your laundry is weighed rather than when you book. Your invoice shows the pounds, the rate and the total.
4. The Process
Clean without compromise. Your clothes are cleaned with institutional-grade precision.
- Temperature Controls: Our standard wash uses cold water and normal heat when drying.
- Skin-Safe Standards: We use hypoallergenic, fragrance-free detergent by default to protect sensitive skin. Clothes will feel clean, soft, and neutral-smelling.
- Expertly Folded: Every item is folded to our "drawer-ready" specifications and kitted for easy organization once they arrive home.
4. The Return
The 48-hour promise. We value your time, which is why we maintain a strict 48-hour service standard.
- Monday pickups are delivered fresh on Wednesday
- Tuesday pickups are delivered fresh on Thursday
- Wednesday pickups are delivered fresh on Friday
- Thursday pickups are delivered fresh on Saturday
- Saturday pickups are delivered fresh on Monday
We do not pickup or deliver on Sundays.
You will receive a notification and a Proof of Delivery photo the moment your laundry is safely back at your door.
