When Your Bag Arrives
Your personalized Magic Basket bag comes back with your first delivery, packed with your clean clothes.
That means you don't need it for your first pickup. Use any bag you already own — whatever is easiest. Once your bag arrives, it is yours to keep and use for every pickup after that.
What The Bag Holds
Our custom branded bags are precision engineered to hold approximately three laundry loads snugly. On average that comes to about 30 lbs, which is roughly:
- 12-14 pairs of jeans
- 20-22 t-shirts
- 16-18 bath towels
- Plus socks, undergarments, and smaller items
This is a capacity guide, not a price tier. We weigh everything you send — the bag just keeps it together, and a half-full bag costs half what a full one does. For reference, a 20 lb order comes to $50 on Magic First, or $40 on Magic Routine.
The Close Rule
We ask that the bag closes completely before pickup. That is so nothing escapes in transit or gets left behind on your doorstep — it is not a limit on how much laundry you can send.
Sending More Than One Bag
Life doesn't always fit into a single bag, whether it's a post-vacation pile or a particularly busy week. If you have more laundry than fits comfortably inside your closed Magic Basket bag, simply place the additional items in any secondary bag of your choice. Our drivers will collect both, and we'll take it from there.
There is no extra bag fee and no overage charge. Everything you send in one pickup is weighed together and billed at your per-pound rate.
